OLD HIPPIES GETTING READY FOR A B'DAY WEEKEND CAMPING!

Been sewing all day making a new sun canopy...still need the eyelets to finish it off but Phil is happy with it less trouble to put up for a weekend camping than the big bedroom awning...
Poured with rain all day but stopped just long enough for us to dash out and try it on for size hehehe

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLAGS 
for a splash of colour...ready for His Birthday on the 20th at the BUS STOP OVER in Leicestershire

Got soaked this morning when we went for thread.....nice for the gardens and skin but not so good for your hair!!!
Got myself a new pair of black and white glasses too and a couple of new outfits
DO YOU LOVE PJ's ?
l do...so comfy and cosy so bought a couple of pairs of beach pyjama trousers and pleat front shirts in a fine linen...they all mix and interchange but as l'm 5' nothing all needed shortening today
Not done so much sewing in one day for a long time!! lol

RAINING AGAIN...what a wet day........Hope you are seeing some sunshine
oh and the Doc seemed very unconcerned about my sore tongue!!...but gave me some tables to take at bedtime for the stomach...got to go back in a month
and l'm not to eat after 5pm!!
So bought some Rinstead pastels for the tongue and seem to help a bit..fingers crossed it feels better soon

    You must know that no hippie is old, as we are all young at heart. That's my thinking anyways. Have a fun trip. Love your new flags. We must see a closer look.

    So sorry to hear of all the rain, but you sure used your time well. And I am glad the doctor isn't too concerned about your tongue and hope his recommendations help!
