NOT A HAPPY HOOKER!!!

lots done until l fell asleep mid stitch!!..hehehe
mmmmmmmmmmm not so happy though with the days colour combinations added the gorgeous cornflower blue and a lovely lilac....2 wonderful colours but as a colour combo in the hex's l don't like them.....not a waste but l can't help thinking it feels a bit like it!!
Should have added the soft orange like l said then it would have been ok l'm sure
Oh well back to the drawing board

Oh! and it started as a cushion then went to the neck border of a jacket then to the start of a blanket but with the middle hex left out so it fits over my head was trying to think of a way of filling it so it could be used as a poncho or a blanket!!
May be small AF's tied together some how so they make a sort of collar when being used as a poncho
Watch this space going to try that idea this morning
and will be adding soft orange and more lime to change the colour combo too!
see....too much blue needs the soft orange to warm the combo up a bit....l think!!
IF THAT DOESN'T WORK THEN ALL THE CREAM WILL JUST HAVE TO BE RIPPED AND THE BLUE HEX'S SPREAD ABOUT THE BALNKET........UGH!!

Sewing Serenity blog post.... thanks SS for a blog about Philip Jacobs Delphiniums fabulous fabric
Google him and found lots more..stunning fabrics

  2. Yep - I love them too. I also love the fabric teamed with them!! My flowers look different ("no surprise there" -I hear Wipso say!!!) I think I must be doing something different in my trebles row round the outer edge.

  3. Your mind is a whirlwind of thoughts - only 2 days of no-computer and the ideas you have come up with.
