Queued over 2 hours to see the 'STAFFORDSHIRE HOARD'
With beautiful blue skies and surrounded by beautiful architecture
up the stairs and into the 1st room....wonderful skylight
Not looking quit so pretty in the Central Library...needs a good clean
Chatted with queuing neighbours......shared a joke or two, had coffee then we got to the gold 1,500 piece found but only a few on show until the 13th October in the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
was it worth it?
YES, it was even to see the few but beautiful crafted gem and mud laden relics of a long gone era
Do hope they manage to stay in Mercia one of the biggest Kingdoms of 700AD
