TO BOBBLE OR NOT TO BOBBLE?

Yesterday l shared the target circles in white hex's with you and said l was thinking of adding bobbles to the next round....it only took one motif to see the bobbles added so much in depth and texture to the pattern so l undid all that l had done the day before and added bobbles to all of them
Adds so much subtle texture to the blocks, as l've done the bobbles in white, but l can see a second version with coloured bobbles too
I hid in my craft room while the kitchen got wrapped in bandages and plastic...venturing out to keep them supplied with lots of cups of hot coffee...got to keep the workers happy haven't you? lol

They decided to re-board the ceiling because of the cracks and staining.
So to start with, lots of holes were punched in the ceiling to find all the joists, looked worse before it looked better and no lights in the kitchen for 24hours
They are back tomorrow (ooops today) to finish the boarding and l think do the skim of plaster...
A few days wait and then the decorators will move in and finish all the decorating off,
then l can ring the carpet fitters and we will be back to pre-flood happiness
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!

A Thoughtful Thursday to you all

Hugs to all xx

  2. Whoa....I got all confused, and didn't know how to bring up the rest of the story, or comment. GAAAA!!! I am a creature of habit, and it takes me a while to get used to new things.
Love the bobble. Can't believe you have your kitchen torn up now!!! Wow...do you ever rest??????

  3. I absolutely *LOVE* the bobble addition. I find that when you use white or cream that to get interest you need texture. Good job!

I still like the old blogger better as it's easier. But I do admire your adventurous spirit.

    ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
