5 Miles...easy peasy hehehe...really have enjoyed my ride this morning got back with a silly grin, a glow, a twinkle in my eye and feeling dead chuffed with myself....and only my 2nd cycle ride in at least 4 years too
Full panniers too...and l resisted the doughnuts and bought strawberries for lunch, a couple of magazines to browse and Dunelm had the other two fleece blankets l need to finish the sofa covers and l picked up a metre of the non slip matting for one of the rugs...need measurements for the others now l know the width it comes in
so settling down for the afternoon with a house programme on TV and a good read
and l don't feel guilty or lacking in energy...proud of myself today...lol
Just need to keep it up!
Oh! and the crochet seat cover works...it was a lot softer on the old bum than yesterday's ride
Oh! and the crochet seat cover works...it was a lot softer on the old bum than yesterday's ride
I can't wait for tomorrow and the next outing...Cycle routes seem to be every where here
Thanks for the good wishes on my new hobby
Hugs to all x
So much fun isn't it!!! I just bought myself a vintage Raleigh Space Rider. I have a few things to fix before I can take her out but I can't wait!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell now you have impressed me!!!! What a fab way to exercise. Max rides her bike to work and hardly touches a road - its cycle route all the way- so you will find lots of fab outings to go on!!
ReplyDeleteWell done you. Keep it up and Minsterley wont seem so far after all :-)

Yea!!! LOVE that bike seat cover!!!
ReplyDeleteGo Suz! That`s one heck of a mean machine mountain bike you have there! You look FABULOUS with or without your exercise and I absolutely LOVE your hair. Wish I was brave enough to get rid of the haystack on top of my head (the `dragged-through-a-hedge backwards` look is so ageing!lol). It`s been so easy to get stuck in a woolly rut with the winter we`ve just had and the summer we`re having isn`t really helping!Have a great weekend, Suz. Love visiting your cheery, colourful little place.
ReplyDeletethat bike seat cover is HAWT Suz! i'm afraid my big bee-hind would not tolerate a bike ride these days... nor my knees... i used to love riding in the country...
ReplyDeleteWaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy you should be feeling pleased with yourself.
ReplyDeleteWell done.
Suz, well done!! Congrats on your bike ride. I bought a new bike this year and was really enjoying it before it got so blasted hot here in Florida. Good luck with Zumba, I hear people really lov eit.

I'm proud of you. Wish I had your energy!
ReplyDelete((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Well done you!! You are an inspiration - you have so much energy :) Can I ask where you found the non-slip meterage? I'm in Oz, and have not had much luck finding something like that here.
ReplyDeleteThanks all...l slept well last night for the first time in years! lol
ReplyDeleteErin the anti-slip matting was from the fabric department in Dunelm...comes in 2 widths 31" 37"
