MOHAIR MAGIC AND MY DAY BED...WOW

DO YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED SOME DAYS?
Oh boy did l have a cosy snugly fabulous day yesterday...started with not knowing what to do next really

.......l was going to paint a small wooden book case l found at a new thrift store that's opened a mile away
but
settled down to do my knitted cushion
and the comfy day bed was the best place to sit so with a cat on my feet and one under my arm l knitted my way through the day dinner in the slow cooker was taken care of.... House programmes on TV most of the day.....SHEER BLISS......hehehe
managed to get the front about a 1/3rd of the way down the back....
What a cosy little nest l have created for myself in the craft room lol

Brupbrup has given it the thumbs up for snugliness...mm is that a word? lol
only put it down to pick up the camera nad he was testing it out and he wouldn't get off!
did a colour change for the back of the cushion
a few cone Christmas trees in the making too...
and l dug out the mohair to take to the Knit and Natter this afternoon...anyone going to make it at 2?
all Mohair so don't want to unpick it....impossible

but mixed with a smoother yarn it still has a lovely feel and look but you can unpick it if you needs be
a cushion.....crochet this time
one of a selection of cushions in white cream beige and neutrals another options for our bedroom
Also going to make some linen ones stripes and patterns....
a change from pastels and bright colours....sometimes some colours just grab you by the throat until you submit and work with them!
Hugs all have a special Saturday xx

  3. Hi Suz. Sorry to say I wont be making K & N for a few weeks cos life here is just so hectic. With working all week the weekends are the only time we can catch up. Paining the stairs and landing walls this weekend and having carpets fitted next weekend :-) Exciting times eh? :-)
