SLEEPY POST

Still up to my neck in primer and eggshell so much still to do downstairs l just thought l'd add
another paint job!.... hehe
l so wanted our bedroom sorted but it looked like it might have to wait until the new year and my subconscious was having a small crisis hehe...a panic attack thinking it wasn't going to be all prettied so l persuaded Phil we needed to add the wainscoting 'now' so l could paint it and finish the bedhead in the next few days....so £11 later and a few cuts to an 8' sheet of MDF later oh! and lots of masking tape to keep it from moving
we have a plain wall wainscoted hehe
TOMORROW....
few coats of paint and it will hopefully make me feel as happy as the lounge does...tiniest amount to do in the lounge and it will be finished and ready for the new sofa
second set of double doors still covered in yucky stuff though!...putting that one off a bit
but.....
FRENCH DOORS AND NEW WINDOW DATE...
the Kitchen wall will be cut out on Saturday and the old doorway bricked up some time in the next week and the new window and French doors in on the 28th October
Hooray!!!
AND...
l'm finding  few minutes to play hooky....a crochet pumpkin
Also found some sock yarn today at a very silly price so a new sock pattern will fill in the gaps!..what gaps?hehehe
what l'd really like is a display like this in Velvet...aren't they fabulous?
from SPROUT DESIGNS

FOR NOW THOUGH.....
l'm going to watch DOWNTON ABBEY.....so wanted to see it the other night but fell asleep after 5minutes l was soooooooo tired

RECLAMATION YARD update...
Fabulous place but a little pricy for us so back to the Auctions in a couple of weeks and see what we can find to be creative with from there
hugs All xx

  2. Wow, no wonder you were tired! DIY non stop:))I just love all your changes and am in awe of your energy levels and drive. You get jobs done in weeks that would take the rest of us months - or years!!
Downton Abbey is just wonderful escapism - sigh of happiness. Enjoy!
