BENCH UPDATE..1ST COAT OF PAINT

BASE AND LEG ON

FIRST COAT OF PAINT on the remaining wood
Later l'll rub it down with a fabulous pad it looks like a pan scrub and gives a really smooth finish like wet and dry and give it a second coat and the rub down again then varnish it as l've only used Emulsion
IKEA TRIP TOMORROW
We'll go and get a wood top from Ikea to match all the other furniture we have done up
make a foam seat and fingers crossed it might be finished by Tuesday
mean while l played with a cushion or two!! lol
Sort of what it will look like.....

THE SPACE THAT DOESN'T LOOK BIG ENOUGH FOR THE BENCH IS ACTUALLY 4" LONGER THAN THE BENCH

The original bed head being thrown away by next door neighbours

  4. So glad you rescued that bed & that's a perfect bench. I love to see those benches made out of old beds.
