IKEA TRIP FOR LUNCH AND A LOOK..haha

ONLY A LOOK......not possible l'm sure....

made this cushion front last night used the lid from the mug box as inspiration
Phil knew l was loving pink roses at the moment so look what l got....so pretty thanks Pmacs
pile of magazines all have a variation on the modern vintage look at the moment...so many wonderful things to do and look at at the moment l just had to make a list so they didn't keep me awake at night!!! lol
must finish these two cushion.....used the rug as inspiration..adore stripes
OOOPS!!...Stripped the seat covers off the orange sofas yesterday and popped them in 3 loads in the washing machine....when the label said dry clean....all l will say is thank goodness they were looking a tad in need of replacement came out all crinkled and l'm not sure l can straighten them out..trip to IKEA today so l will have o look see what new colours they do or make some new ones maybe!!!.....silly me

  1. oooooooooo those cushion covers are absolutely gorgeous...what yarn are you using?? i LOVE the colours, and I love that rug too. When, in the distant future, we get rid of our manky carpet and restore our old floorboards, I am SO having this rug. Love it.

    And your new pinky cushion cover is delightful too, very summery and girly.

    Rug from Ikea...still some left at our branch but not sure if it's being discontinued or not they seemed to be having a huge clear out yesterday..and the new catalogue is out too although not in store yet

  3. ooops missed yarn query...hadn't done any crochet for about 30yrs and local shop only had the acrylics so to practise l've used them
    Now l'm trying to use them up and replace with pure wools and quality yarns...loved the colours but hate the feel of the acrylics...cats don't seem to mind though hehe
    The Rowan yarns you use are gorgeous but l want them all..all 42 colours and a bit broke at mo..new summer house/studio arriving a week on Monday so pennies spent for a bit lol
    TARN will have to be the fill in yarn for now lol
